This course introduces the B-method: the basic concepts ranging from the most basic structures like the B machine to proofs using the Atelier-B interactive prover. After the course, students will be able to develop software from specification to source code using the B formal development approach.

About us

The MOOC IMD was created with the aim of disseminating new skills in several areas and, thus, stimulating the production of content by teachers, as well as expanding students' knowledge. This project is being developed by the Multimedia Production Sector (SPM) of Instituto Metrópole Digital (IMD), a unit of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Since 2012, SPM has developed technical-level didactic materials and recently develops the production of videos and animations with the support of a diverse team, composed of professors from UFRN, IT professionals, media, pedagogy, letters and design.
